My friend Tracy J. and I had a little baby shower for Cheynna in June when she visited Boulder. She and Rory are moving back to Boulder this fall (after the baby is born), and I am still in shock that we won't be there to welcome them. But at least they'll have another reason to visit the East Coast now that we're in Maryland. And according to Rory's Twitters, he really LOVES the East Coast of the USA. Now if we can just work on Madison and E.J. to say it's OK for them to bring the baby, we'll be all set.

Liz and Rebecca displaying the candles we made. Tracy J. had us each decorate a 7-day candle with ribbon, each person giving Cheynna a piece of our ribbon to add to her candle, so that hers was made up of a piece of each of ours. When she goes into labor, we will all be notified via a phone call chain to light our candles and keep them lit until the baby is born safely.

Cheynna requested some of Madison and E.J.'s artwork for the baby's room, and these are the items we chose to copy and frame for baby Treto-Sutherland.
