As part of Jim's relocation package with UA, they arranged for a moving company to pack our stuff and move it across the country. These guys spent two really long days with us at our house, and the kids had a lot of fun with them. They were pros. I watched them use about 5 sheets of paper to wrap each glass, plate, etc. I can't imagine what we will do with all that paper when we unpack. I hope they recycle in Maryland.
For E.J. it was a real thrill to have an actual 18-wheeler tractor trailer in front of our house. He got to go inside the cab, where there are bunk beds for the men to sleep in, beep the horn, and have free reign to climb up and down the ramp into the truck. Madison and Hannah had equally as much fun, and we all had ice cream from the Ice Cream Truck together.
After all was said and done, we had 422 items/boxes inventoried into a computer and loaded into the truck, including 1 motor scooter, 2 surfboards, 5 bikes, 23 boxes of toys, and about 900 pieces of kids artwork that I couldn't throw away. Our stuff is now in storage somewhere in Maryland waiting for us, and hopefully safe.

A dream-come-true for Emerson- a Big Rig at our house!

Blurry picture taken with my phone. Madison and E.J. with buddies Andrew and Zach, watching The Backyardigans on my laptop. Notice their puppy, London, laying with them, also exhausted.
This is the only dog that ever entered our house on Fairway Court! We figured why not, since Jim wasn't there and we were hours away from moving.
