Creekside- End of Year Stuff

1st Grade hike on Flagstaff Mountain. These field trips are always an adventure.

Madison on Field Day. The tug-of-war was not her cup-of-tea.

End of the Year at Creekside Elementary

Sammie on Field Day on the playground, face-painted as a cat.

Madison and her buddy, Riley, in Mrs. Legg's 1st grade classroom. Madison and Riley won these t-shirts for selling over 175 boxes of Girl Scout cookies each! They helped make enough money for the whole troop to take a trip to the Denver Zoo.

Breakfast at Marie's

Our other favorite eating spot in Boulder (and much more affordable than Frasca) - Marie's for breakfast. This is Emerson nuzzling up to Jim in the booth while we wait for our pancakes.

We started going to Marie's long before we had kids, and the servers know us by name. I remember trying to squeeze into a booth with a big, pregnant belly, and the beautiful Czech and Slovak servers laughing at me. Romana and the others will be missed.

Dinner at Frasca

We had a wonderful 3 1/2 hour dinner at our favorite Boulder restaurant, Frasca, during Jim's last week in town. Who is better dinner company than Rob and Rebecca? We had a lot of wine, amazing food, stories, and visits from Bobby, the owner.

A Busy Last Month in Boulder

From a backyard party for Jim and his cycling cronies, a yard sale, trips to all our favorite places around town, end-of-school year festivities, visits with all of our friends, as many bike rides and yoga classes we could fit in, and a final going-away party, our last month in Boulder was a busy one, and so bittersweet.

We are so lucky to have such wonderful people in our lives. Thank you to everyone who helped out our family during those hectic last months, and through all our years in Boulder.
